Protected Cropping Conference and Meiny Prins from Priva

Protected Cropping Conference and Meiny Prins from Priva Yesterday we had the incredible opportunity to meet and talk with one of our heroes. Meiny Prins from The Netherlands is a true legend. She runs Priva, one of the largest companies in the Protected Cropping Industry, but more than that she is a visionary who is passionate about creating sustainable urban deltas, changing business models, sharing knowledge and integrating the world's best technology to help save the planet. I have been to a few of her talks and they are really incredible. We talked for an hour about what we do, our vision and some of the projects we have planned. She was genuinely excited by what Enesys is trying to achieve and we plan to meet again. If you want some hope that some incredible people are doing amazing things check her out. Waste to Energy can power 2000 homes

Waste to Energy can power 2000 homes. Why would we not incorporate this into all our communities? Relocate waste away from landfills and create clean energy? Even better grow food with heat, Co2, and energy. Yarra Valley Water’s “ReWaste” energy plant has transformed more than 45,000 tonnes of food waste into 10,000MWh of clean energy, capable of powering 2000 homes, in the two years since it commenced operations. The plant has been regarded as thriving proof that waste to energy technology is the next big thing in tackling climate change, and similar technology could be used to manage different types of waste and landfill in the future as Melbourne’s population continues to grow.  https://www.energymagazine.com.au/waste-to-energy-plant-capable-of-powering-2000-homes
